Can you process Kodachrome or K-14 Slide Film?

We do not process Kodachrome in house. As a convenience for you, we do outlab this service. The only drawback is that it can take 7-10 working days.

Can you make prints from a copyrighted slide or print?

We can do reproductions from copyrighted material if it can be demonstrated that the copyright holder is placing the order or someone authorized by the original copyright holder. The customer is responsible to obtain a release from the photographer and assumes all liability for copyright infringement. We will hold production on your order until we receive a copyright release. Our Customer Service Representatives may be able to help direct you in obtaining a release from a photographer or studio.

How fast can I get my slides processed?

We can process your slides in 24 hours, 3 hours or in 1 ˝ hours for an additional rush charge.

Is mounting included in the cost of a print?

Mounting is not included. It is a separate service that requires an extra 2 days done only at the time of printing. We only mount prints that have been printed by 5 Star Image.

Can you match the color of a print I already have?

Please bring in your print that you want us to match at the time you place the order. Our technicians will match your guide print as close as possible.

Can you touch up or restore original photographs and negatives?

We do not do restoration work directly on original photos or negatives. Digitally, we can repair tears, creases, and any damage as well as add or remove objects, people, or backgrounds. To do this, we scan the original photograph into the computer and do the restoration digitally. The final print is output from the manipulated computer file. You receive a new restored photo and your original.

Can you make slides from a computer file?

We can make slides from computer files such as Powerpoint as well as TIFF and JPEG files.

Can you make prints from a digital camera?

We can make prints from a digital camera. They can be on floppy disk, CD, zip disk, smart media, compact flash and memory stick. We can download directly from your camera if your camera has a standard USB or Firewire connection. Your photos will probably not be set up for a format size such as 3˝ x 5" or 4 x 6". We will print them to fit in the size you request.

Are you open on Saturday and Sundays?

We are open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sundays we are closed.
